Spanjaard Copper Anti-Seize is used for the assembly of all threaded connections subject to high temperatures. The lead-free, nickel-free formulation prevents seizing, galling, fretting, corrosion, and electrolytic pitting on threaded connections and metal surfaces, aiding disassembly. The non-melting bentonite thickener provides excellent heat resistance without a dropping point, while the solid lubricants ensure protection even when the base oil is squeezed out or volatilized at extreme temperatures.

APPLICATIONS

Permits firmer tightening and easier loosening of threaded connections and mating surfaces. Use on sparkplug threads, cylinder head and exhaust manifold studs.
Threaded fasteners, bolts, nuts, studs, and fittings in high-temperature environments (exhaust manifolds, spark plugs, turbochargers, engine components).
Flanges, gaskets, pipe joints, and connections in exhaust systems, heat exchangers, boilers, and furnaces.
Automotive, heavy-duty truck, marine, and industrial applications involving vibration, thermal cycling, corrosion, or galvanic action (e.g., dissimilar metals like steel/aluminium or stainless/steel).
Assembly of brake callipers, wheel hubs, suspension components, and other parts requiring easy disassembly after prolonged exposure to heat, moisture, or contaminants.
Apply to the back of disc brakes to eliminate squeal.
